Holo the Wise Wolf

Yeah, been getting into the series/manga/light novels 'Spice and Wolf' and decided to try my hand at drawing the lead female, Holo the Wise Wolf. (Or just Holo, because she refers to herself by the Wise Wolf title) Yes, I know she looks like a fox but she really is a wolf.

I like the series despite the fact that it involves economics and the fact that it's in medieval times but hey, that adds to the charm. Anyways, Holo is the goddess of Harvest who watches over the wheat fields of a village until she decides that she wants to go back to her homeland, Yoistu, because she feels that the people no longer need her since they hardly believe in her anymore. So she enlists the help of the merchant Lawrence, and the two set out on a journey to her homeland.

I really like this character for many reasons, especially for her sassy-ness and flirtatious attitude. At the same time she is a very lonely person and just wants a friend to stay by her, which I can relate to. And her true form is just awesome!
